  joins the team as a Compliance Analyst with extensive experience in the Trust Administration space. Her previous role as a Trust Administrator included monitoring suspicious transactions, conducting sanctions screening, and preparing client due diligence reports. She manages a portfolio of key clients across multiple sectors for compliance monitoring.

• Hajira Sethole – Compliance Consultant:

  is one of the most senior members of the team, serving as a Senior Compliance Consultant. With over fifteen years of experience in the non-banking financial services sector, she previously held the position of Head of Operations and Compliance in the country’s oldest stockbroking company for three years. She is currently engaged on a full time basis with an asset manager, but works with the team closely on compliance training and risk monitoring.

• Tshepo Sabone – Compliance Consultant:

  is one of our key Compliance Consultants, bringing over 15 years of experience in both the banking and non-bank financial sectors. Her previous roles include positions at Botswana’s oldest asset management business, First National Bank Botswana, ABN AMRO Bank Botswana, and Access Bank. Tshepo has a strong IT background and has contributed to automating several procedures. She has worked with a number of our key clients in the private equity space but is currently with a leading telecommunications company as a Data Protection Analyst. She continues to consult with us with regards data protection and cyber security.

• Bonno Mabusela – Compliance Analyst:

  Bonno Mabusela is another key Compliance Consultant with 7 years of experience in financial services. Her expertise encompasses compliance, risk management, internal controls, financial crime, and accounting. She is well-versed in NBFIRA regulation and serves investment management and stockbroker clients in the capital markets sector. Bonno is recognized for her professionalism and commitment to ethics and integrity. She is currently engaged with an asset manager as their Compliance Officer, and we continue to support her in her role and she provides us with valuable compliance related assistance when able.

• Merapelo Kedisitse – Compliance Consultant:

  Merapelo Kedisitse is currently engaged with an asset management company and is their vetted compliance officer. She has completed several compliance courses, including an international course that grants her recognition in the UK. Merapelo is highly passionate about compliance and actively engages her peers, fostering an environment of continuous learning. We continue to provide her with support where required.

• Tshegofatso Odumeleng – Compliance Officer:

  Merapelo Kedisitse is currently engaged with an asset management company and is their vetted compliance officer. She has completed several compliance courses, including an international course that grants her recognition in the UK.
